Established in 2010, Boston Urban is a real-estate development firm offering premium place-making innovation, design, and commercial development services in the greater Boston area.
After 11 years of burgeoning success, the organization had outgrown its own shoes and needed to better connect with its growing and more sophisticated clientele. The visual identity and voice needed to reflect the maturity of the company and align more directly with the goals of its customers and partnerships.
Approach
StudioRd Design partnered closely with the Boston Urban leadership team to help them reassess what the company stands for and how to appropriately communicate this to their audience. With a thorough competitive audit and a strong understanding of their audience needs, we were able to arrive at a clear foundational strategy from which the new identity was created.
Solution
The new logo and visual language are intended to emphasize the many facets of the projects Boston Urban touches, the many disciplines they collaborate with, and the ease with which the company is able to integrate all of these elements together for their clients in order to produce a premium service and end product. The new identity entails an updated logo, visual identity system, website, and messaging strategy.
